TRYOUTS 
2025/2026 Season
This June, players are encouraged to attend our Tryout sessions for an opportunity to be accepted onto one of our SELECT soccer teams playing in the East Central Soccer District or Wisconsin State League.

Our Select program offers players a year-round training program to increase their soccer skills, play against competitive teams in league matches, and travel to tournaments throughout the state.
GIRLS - 18U/High School (Select/Classic) 
Wednesday, June 18th - 5:00 to 6:00 pm


All tryouts will be held at:
Calavera Springs Park
2694 Flintville Rd, Suamico, WI 54313

AGE ELIGIBILITY
US Soccer (the governing body for all soccer in the US) has mandated we determine age eligibility based on the players year of birth only. So for example, anyone born in 2002 will be considered a U19 for the 2020/21 season.

TRYOUT PROCESS
  • As the tryout begins players will participate in a series of training activities and be evaluated by various members of the FIRE coaching staff on:
    • Technical ability - what a player can do with the ball = skills
    • Tactical ability - the decisions a player makes on the field = what do they do when they have the ball and what do they do when they don't have the ball
    • Physical ability - agility, speed etc.
WHAT TO BRING

REQUIRED DOCUMENT(S)- FIRST FIRE TRYOUT
  • All players must complete and bring the following form with them:
    - WYSA Membership Form.pdf
  • - WYSA Communicable Disease Waiver.pdf
  • ​All players new to the FIRE Soccer Club must present an original or copy of their Birth Certificate for age verification. It will not be copied and will immediately be returned to you.
EQUIPMENT
  • Water
  • Soccer ball

  • Soccer training attire
  • Numbered shirt or jersey
  • Shin guards & Socks that cover them
  • No jewelry
