Our Developmental Recreational in-house program is both educational and fun! It is a holistic approach that TEACHES players the game of soccer in a FUN supportive environment that addresses all aspects of development; Physical, Cognitive, Social and Emotional. It provides an opportunity for all children - without regard to athletic ability or soccer skill - to enjoy the “beautiful game”.
It is important that the children enjoy coming to training and the scrimmages so that they have a “good first impression” with the game. We want every child in our club to have a positive experience learning the game in an age appropriate educational setting. Location:
All sessions will be held at: Calavera Springs Park 2694 Flintville Rd, Suamico, WI 54313 |
Program Format:
- Focused on FUN and DEVELOPMENT
- Coed groupings
- Players will be grouped into pools (click here for information about pools)
- Each training session will be led by coaches licensed and trained to work with the age group
- Each training session will end with a scrimmage
- These games/scrimmages are free play that allow the players to try out the skills/ideas from training without worrying about making "mistakes"
- Scrimmage formats will be anywhere from 3v3 to 6v6 (see information about benefits of small sided games)
